India Stopped Transhipment of Cargo from Bangladesh

As per Customs Circlar No. 13/2025-Customs dated 8th April, 2025 [touch / click to view], henceforth the Goods originated from Bangladesh (i.e. Export Cargo in containers or closed body trucks) cannot be transhiped from Indian Land Customs Stations (LCS) or Ports or Airports since the Govt. has rescinded its earlier Circular No. 29/2020-Customs dated 29th June, 2020 whereby such transhipment was allowed till now.

However, such Cargo already entered into India may be allowed to exit the Indian territory as per procedure given in the Circular No. 29/2020-Customs.
